Chief of the Egyptian Military Staff meets with his Italian counterpart

CAIRO – 27 May 2017: Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Lt-Gen Mahmoud Higazi met on Thursday with his Italian counterpart, Chief of Defence General Staff Claudio Graziano, to discuss several issues, especially in the military field, according to spokesperson for the Armed Forces in a statement.

Higazi praised the level of coordination and consultation between the two countries in the military and security fields.

Graziano affirmed the depth of military relations between the two countries for the achievement of security and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by armed forces leaders and the Italian military attaché in Cairo.
