CAIRO - 4 August 2025: Judge Ahmed Bandari, Executive Director of the National Elections Authority, followed up Monday with the heads of the general and sub polling stations to monitor the progress of the electoral process, the influx of citizens to polling stations, and the voting process in the early hours of the first day of voting in the 2025 Senate elections.

Counselor Ahmed Abu El-Ela, a member of the Executive Authority of the National Elections Authority, led a delegation of international observers from Algeria and Japan to the sub polling stations in the Kerdasa area of Giza to ensure all logistics and facilities provided for the elderly and people with special needs are in place. They will tour the sub polling stations throughout the day.

The Senate elections will be held domestically on Monday and Tuesday, August 4 and 5. 428 candidates are competing for 100 seats allocated to the individual system.
