CAIRO - 30 July 2025: The Egyptian Red Crescent announced the continued flow of food and humanitarian aid to Gaza as part of the "Zad Al-Izza" convoy for the fourth day, carrying approximately 1,000 tons of aid.
The third convoy, "Zad Al-Izza: From Egypt to Gaza," was dispatched yesterday. This convoy includes food, relief, and medical aid to Gaza, heading south through the Kerem Shalom crossing.
The convoy carries approximately 1,300 tons of aid, divided into approximately 440 tons of various food baskets, approximately 450 tons of flour, approximately 150 tons of medical supplies, and approximately 200 tons of personal care items.
The Egyptian Red Crescent has been present on the border since the beginning of the crisis, serving as the national mechanism for coordinating and dispatching aid to Gaza. The Rafah crossing has never been closed on the Egyptian side, and it has maintained its readiness at all logistical centers and its ongoing efforts to deliver aid, which has reached approximately 35,000 trucks carrying nearly half a million tons of humanitarian and relief aid, thanks to the efforts of 35,000 volunteers from the association.
