CAIRO - 10 July 2025: The North Coast has accounted for a significant portion of Egyptian tourism in recent years, according to Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly in a Wednesday Cabinet meeting.

Egypt primarily depended on tourism in Cairo and archeological sites in the south, and then developed Red Resorts to contribute significantly to tourist attractions in the country.

After pumping huge investments in the North Coast, overlooking some of the best Mediterranean beaches, the area managed to attract tourists in a matter of only a few years.

With fourth-generation cities in the North Coast such as New Alamein and Ras al-Hikma cities, tourism is only expected to increase quickly.
