Egypt’s Prime Minister heads to Brazil for 17th BRICS Summit

CAIRO – 5 June 2025: Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly departed Cairo International Airport en route to Brazil to represent President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the 17th BRICS Summit, taking place in Rio de Janeiro.

During the summit, Madbouly will participate in several sessions alongside leaders of BRICS member states.

The summit, held on July 6–7, is themed "Strengthening South-South Cooperation for Inclusive and Sustainable Governance."
