CAIRO – 3 July 2025: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 57,130, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
State news agency WAFA quoted medical sources as saying on Thursday that the number of injuries among Palestinians since the start of the Israeli onslaught surged to 135,173.
The number of fatalities since March 18, after the Israeli occupation government violated a ceasefire agreement, has reached 6,572, while 23,132 others have reportedly been injured.
The sources noted that in the last 24 hours alone, 12 Palestinians were killed and more than 49 others injured while seeking or distributing humanitarian aid. This brings the total number of aid-related casualties to 652 deaths and over 4,537 injuries since the beginning of the Israeli war.
