According to a statement issued by the Italian Foreign Ministry, the first contribution will support the provision of vaccines, medical supplies, training for healthcare workers, and assistance to Al-Helou Hospital in Gaza.
It will also cover services for over 60 newborns each month and provide medical care for pregnant women.
The second contribution will focus on bolstering primary and secondary healthcare services, disease prevention, and supplying medical materials to health facilities.
Tajani reaffirmed Italy’s continued solidarity with Palestinian civilians in Gaza since the onset of the crisis, highlighting concrete actions such as the “Food for Gaza” initiative.
“We cannot stand idly by in the face of the humanitarian tragedy unfolding in the Strip,” he said.
