President Sisi exchanges greetings with Arab leaders on occasion of new Hijri year 1447

CAIRO – 25 June 2025: Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi exchanged greetings with Arab and Islamic leaders, on the occasion of the beginning of the new Hijri year 1447.

President Sisi expressed his warmest greetings and best wishes, wishing all Arab leaders, their brotherly peoples, and all the peoples of the Islamic nation a blessed year filled with goodness, peace, and stability.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi also greeted Egyptian Muslim expatriates on the new Hijri year 1447.

In a cable of greetings published on the social media pages of all Egyptian embassies and consulates, President Sisi wished Egyptian nationals abroad prosperity in the new Hijri year, voicing hope that Egypt would achieve further progress and stability.

Thursday, June 26, marks the first day of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar.
