The Ministry of Health also stated that 47 people were killed and 388 wounded as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip within the past 24 hours.

On Friday, 42 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on several areas in the Gaza Strip according to Palestinian media reports.

An Israeli fighter jet struck a five-story residential building in Jabalia, northern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinians and injuries to dozens more.
