CAIRO - 2 June 2025: The Egyptian Red Crescent called on citizens to take the necessary measures to protect themselves from earthquake hazards. The Red Crescent noted that the Red Crescent's operations room detected an earthquake measuring 2.31 on the Richter scale, at a depth of 3.17 km, near Giza at 8:10 p.m.

The Red Crescent noted that the situation is stable, with no reports of human or property damage to date.
