Ismail withdraws nationality from person over fraud in naturalization process

CAIRO - 27 July 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail withdrew the nationality from Medhat Ehsan Mahmoud Mohamed Abu Warda for deceiving authorities concerning his job when he applied for a citizenship certificate.

The man, who was granted the Egyptian nationality on January 21, 2013, lost his citizenship over fraud in the naturalization process.

The decision was published in the Gazette out Thursday.
