Egypt returns 71 citizens from Libya

 

CAIRO - 23 May 2025: Egypt has returned 71 citizens who requested to return to Cairo on Friday.

 

The 71 citizens have previously submitted their data in the Egyptian embassy in Tripoli. 

 

 

Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has taken all necessary measures to secure the return of all 71 citizens without bearing any financial responsibility. 

 

These measures came as a result of Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al Sisi directives to ensure the safety of Egyptians in Libya and provide a safe return to whom wishes to come back.
