Egypt strongly condemns Israel’s targeting to diplomatic delegation in Jenin

CAIRO – 21 May 2015: Egypt has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation army's firing shots at a delegation of regional, European and Western diplomats visiting the West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday.

The visit by the delegation, which included the Egyptian ambassador in Ramallah, was organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates affirmed Egypt's categorical rejection of this incident, which flies in the face of diplomatic norms, calling on the Israeli side to clarify the circumstances related to it.
