President Sisi arrives in Baghdad to participate in AL summit

CAIRO – 17 May 2025:  President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived, on Saturday, in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to participate in the 34th regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States (AL), at summit level.

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that the President will deliver Egypt's speech during the summit. 

The President will outline Egypt's vision regarding the challenges facing the region, particularly developments in the Palestinian cause, and ways to restore regional stability.
