Tourists to obtain visa at Cairo Int’l Airport via phone app

CAIRO - 7 May 2025: Cairo International AirPort will witness the launch phase of an electronic system that issues visas upon arrival to Egypt, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said Wednesday.

In a press conference following a Cabiney meeting, Madbouly said Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said the mechanism will enable tourists to obtain a visa at the airport through easy and steps on the electronic platform, a mobile phone application, or self-service stations. 

Seven other airports will follow suit, and the the system will expand in the second phase to cover all 14 airports in Egypt.
