In pics: US Embassy publishes stunning nighttime views of Cairo

CAIRO - 21 April 2025: U.S. Embassy in Cairo published on its official Facebook page Monday stunning nighttime views of Cairo, captured by astronauts aboard the International Space Station.

The U.S. embassy said in the post, that "the pictures show more than just city lights; they show how cities grow and change."

"You can trace the Nile by the clusters of brightness along its banks, and spot how Cairo has expanded over the years with satellite cities like New Cairo and 6 October," the post read.
