Photos: Pope Tawadros II leads Easter Mass in St. Mark's Cathedral in Cairo

CAIRO – 19 April 2025: Head of Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church Pope Tawadros II has arrived at the St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo’s Abbasiya district to lead the Easter Mass.

Recently, Orthodox Christians have begun to gather at the cathedral to celebrate Easter, with Pope Tawadros II set to preside over the prayers and ceremonies.

Many state officials, including ministers, are attending the prayers.
