Gebaly made the remarks as he received on Monday President of Slovenia’s National Assembly Urska Zupancic.

The Egyptian parliament speaker emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in the parliamentary and legislative fields, as well as continuing consultation on regional and international issues and files of common interest. He also underscored the necessity of fostering economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

On that score, Gebaly called on the Slovenian side to seize promising investment opportunities in Egypt in light of the unprecedented boom seen in the country in many fields.

Meanwhile, the head of the Slovenian National Assembly pointed out to the strength of Egypt-Slovenia relations, highlighting Egypt's status as a regional power with a pivotal role.

There are many promising sectors in the Egyptian economy and market given the development Egypt is witnessing at all levels, she added.
