Egypt's Intelligence Chief, Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council meet in Port Sudan

CAIRO - 8 April 2025: Head of Egypt's General Intelligence Services Major General Hassan Mahmoud Rashad met with Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council in Port Sudan, on Tuesday.

During the meeting, both the head of Egypt's General Intelligence Services and the head of Sudan's Transitional Sovereignty Council discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and develop joint cooperation in all fields.

They also discussed ways to restore stability, and the importance of working together to end the war in a way that preserves Sudan's integrity and unity.
