Egypt’s President Sisi honors injured personnel from Armed forces, Police

CAIRO – 31 March 2025: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended the Eid al-Fitr celebrations (the Feast of Breaking the Fast) on Monday, accompanied by the children of martyrs from the Armed Forces and Police, as well as several injured personnel from both the Armed Forces and Police, Extra News reported.

 

The President honored several families of martyrs and injured members of the Armed Forces and Police, and then posed for a picture with martyrs' children, sharing their joy on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi performed the prayer Eid al-Fitr (the Feast of Breaking the Fast) at Field Marshal Tantawi Mosque in Cairo.

 

Egyptians celebrated the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Monday, after Dar al-Ifta announced that the Shawwal crescent moon wasn't sighted on March 29.

 

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi extended greetings to Egyptian people as well as the Arab and Muslim nations on Eid Al-Fitr in a social media post on Sunday.

 

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the great Egyptian people and to the Arab and Islamic nations,” the president said.
