First lady extends Eid Al-Fitr greetings to Egyptian people

CAIRO – 30 March 2025: First Lady Entissar Amer wished Egyptians lasting health and happiness as she greeted them on Eid Al-Fitr in a social media post.

“I pray for Allah to bless our days and to bestow goodness, blessings, and prosperity for us and our beloved homeland during the Eid,” the first lady wrote.

Egypt is preparing for the first day of Eid Al-Fitr on Monday after 30 days of fasting during the blessed Ramadan month with children excitedly donning new Eid clothes and families enjoying the traditional festive treat, Kahk.

Public and private sector employees nationwide are enjoying a paid holiday extending from Saturday to Wednesday, as per Cabinet's decrees.
