CAIRO - 27 March 2025: The UN Humanitarian Spokesperson for Gaza, Olga Cherevko, called for the necessary protection of civilians, especially humanitarian workers.
During a phone call with Cairo News Channel, the UN Humanitarian Spokesperson for Gaza added, "The crossings must be opened and a ceasefire must be implemented." She added, "We are suffering from a fuel shortage that greatly impacts the operation of hospitals and ambulance services, and there is a severe shortage of basic necessities and food supplies."
The UN Humanitarian Spokesperson for Gaza continued, stating that the medical sector in Gaza has deteriorated significantly due to the war, and we are making every effort to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
