CAIRO – 19 March 2025: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty praised the development of bilateral relations between Egypt and Azerbaijan at all levels.
This came during a Wednesday phone call with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov.
The minister pointed to the high-level visits exchanged between the two sides, expressing Egypt's aspiration to capitalize on the momentum generated by these visits to advance all aspects of bilateral cooperation, which would contribute to a qualitative shift in the historical relations between the two countries.
The foreign minister expressed Egypt's aspiration to enhance economic cooperation, increase trade and investment exchange, and consolidate economic partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries.
He also highlighted the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination in international forums and exchanging nominations for various international positions.
