CAIRO – 12 March 2025: The Permanent Committee on Following Up on Egyptian-African Relations dedicated Tuesday its periodic meeting to decide upon investments in Gabon and identify funding mechanisms to Egyptian private investors in the country.
The sectors of interest are mainly housing, infrastructure, energy, transport, and healthcare. Hence, the meeting was attended by a number of members of the Egyptian business community, as well as representatives of governmental bodies in order to set a plan for delivering vocational training to Gabonese candidates.
The move is in fulfillment of the MoUs signed in November during the visit of the president of Gabon to Cairo. In the following month, the Egyptian foreign minister led a delegation of Egyptian investors in a visit to the country to learn about investment opportunities.
