CAIRO - 11 March 2025: A new batch of 14 Palestinian injured, sick, and wounded individuals, along with 20 companions, has arrived in Egypt through the Rafah Crossing. This is the 39th batch of patients being transferred to Egyptian hospitals for medical treatment.

A source at Rafah Crossing stated that the injured were immediately assigned to Egyptian medical teams upon arrival and were transported by ambulances to hospitals in North Sinai and other Egyptian governorates for necessary treatment based on their health conditions.

The source added that the total number of Palestinian casualties arriving at Egyptian hospitals since the evacuation operations began has exceeded 1,500, with 2,100 companions accompanying them.

Dozens of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid have been waiting at the Rafah Crossing for the past 12 days due to the Israeli occupation’s closure of the Kerem Shalom and Al-Awja crossings. Reconstruction equipment and engineering teams are also waiting to enter Gaza as soon as the crossings are reopened.
