CAIRO – 31 January 2025: Military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades Abu Ubeida announced the names of Israeli captives whom will be handed over on Saturday to the Red Cross, within the framework of prisoner swap deal between Hamas and Israel.

 

Al-Qassam Brigades decided to release the following Zionist prisoners tomorrow, Saturday, corresponding to 01-02-2025: Ofer Calderon, Keith Shmonsel Segal, and Yarden Bibas.

 

On Thursday evening, Spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubeida, announced the killing of the commander-in-chief of the Qassam Brigades Mohammed Deif and resistance leaders from the General Military Council of the Al-Qassam Brigades as part of Al-Aqsa Flood battle.

 

Abu Ubeida, also revealed the martyrdom of Marwan Issa, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Brigades, Ghazi Abu Tama'a, Commander of the Weapons and Combat Services Section, and Raed Thabet, Commander of the Human Resources Section, Commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade.

 

Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem announced on Friday that movement’s leaders were killed while they were fighting an epic within the Al-Aqsa flood and not assassinations.

 

 He added: "the martyrdom of the leaders was announced after they have been identified by the specialized crews during the ceasefire."
