CAIRO – 23 January 2025: Up to 20 trucks loaded with food and humanitarian aid moved on Thursday from a small Egyptian village called ‘Tanah’ located near Mansoura city, Dakahlia Governorate, heading to Gaza Strip.
The aid convoy comes as part of the village support to their brothers and sisters in Gaza who suffered during the past month due to the Israeli aggression.
In a short video, the village’s residents appear to be celebrating, gathering around the trucks, holding flags and even taking photos with the convoy.
The people of the villages and cities in Dakahlia Governorate were competing to collect aid convoys to send to the Palestinian brothers, after the success of the Egyptian efforts to stop the ceasefire, open the Rafah crossing, and bring in relief, medical, and food aid to the Strip.

Humanitarian relief efforts continue to flow into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing, as relief convoys from Egypt, the Arab world, and international relief organizations continue to provide the necessary support to citizens in Gaza who are suffering from the repercussions of the war, the blockade, and the difficult conditions they are living in.
The epic efforts of various Egyptian parties at the Rafah crossing continue to facilitate the movement of humanitarian aid, which varies between food, medicine, and medical supplies, to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

On Thursday, the crossing witnessed the passage of Egyptian aid trucks on their way to the Gaza Strip, provided by charitable organizations that had previously arrived at the Rafah crossing yesterday from a number of governorates under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Development Work.
