RAMALLAH - 24 July 2017: An Israeli has been wounded in a stabbing by a Palestinian in the central Israeli city of Petah Tikva on Monday morning, Haaretz reported quoting the Israeli police.

The Magen David Adom emergency service that the man, who appears to be in his 40s, sustained moderate injuries to his upper body in the knife attack.

According to the police, a Palestinian, a resident of the West Bank town of Qalqilyah, stabbed the Israeli, a resident of the Arab town of Arara, near a Shawarma shop in the Tel Aviv suburb, and was consequently arrested. The circumstances are under investigation.

The incident took place after 11 A.M. on Ze'ev Orlev Street in Petah Tikva
