CAIRO - 11 June 2024: The South African representative at the Emergency Humanitarian Response Conference in Gaza appreciated the efforts of Egypt and Jordan in supporting the Gaza Strip, during his speech, according to Al-Qahera News TV Channel. 
 
The South African representative called for respect for the decisions of international legitimacy and the International Criminal Court.
 
The International Conference on the Emergency Humanitarian Response to Gaza, held Tuesday, at a joint invitation from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Jordanian King and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and hosted by the sister Kingdom of Jordan at the Dead Sea, is an extension of Egypt’s usual humanitarian role in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict, especially during the The past 9 months, following the October 7th aggression.
 
The Gaza Emergency Humanitarian Response Conference, which refers to the current humanitarian response and the work done to strengthen Security Council Resolution 2720 of 2023, aims to simplify and accelerate the process of providing assistance, identify ways to strengthen the international community’s response to the humanitarian disaster, and identify effective unified measures and procedures to provide all necessary assistance to Gaza.
