Source: 'No truth to' Israeli media claims of Egypt's withdrawal from S. Africa's Gaza Genocide case

CAIRO - 18 May 2024: A high-level source said that there is no truth to what was published by the Israeli media regarding Egypt’s retreat from joining South Africa in its case filed against Israel at the International Court of Justice.

 

Egypt has announced that it will formally join the case filed by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The case accuses Israel of violating its obligations under the Genocide Convention in its war on the Gaza Strip. 

 

Turkey and Colombia also announced their intentions to join South Africa's case.
