CAIRO - 15 May 2024: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi heads to the Kingdom of Bahrain on Wednesday, to participate in the 33rd session of the Arab League Council at the summit level, held in Manama.

Key Points of President Sisi's Participation

Focus on Arab Coordination: The spokesperson for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, stated that President Sisi's participation in the summit emphasizes Egypt's commitment to coordinating with Arab brothers and unifying positions. This comes in light of the critical phase the Arab region is experiencing and the significant challenges it faces on various levels.

Discussion on Gaza Crisis: The summit will thoroughly discuss the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and efforts to resolve the current crisis to stop the bloodshed of Palestinian brothers and protect the sector from the humanitarian catastrophe it is facing.
