CAIRO - 11 May 2024: Continuing the strenuous efforts by Egypt in support of the Palestinian people, and in collaboration with international parties, including the UAE, to defuse the current crisis and achieve a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza to end the severe humanitarian tragedy faced by Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.
Egyptian Air Force, in cooperation with the UAE, intensifies daily sorties to airdrop tens of tons of food aid and urgent relief supplies in northern Gaza.
Simultaneously, joint aerial sorties with friendly countries participating in the international coalition, including Jordan, continue the airdrop of humanitarian aid to the affected areas in the north of the strip.
These efforts are part of Egypt's endeavors on all fronts to inform the international community of its responsibilities in providing sufficient and sustainable relief aid to Gaza and working to halt the war and prevent the expansion of the conflict in the region.
