CAIRO - 25 April 2024: In his speech commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Sinai's liberation, President Abdel Fatah al Sisi emphasized the historical significance of Sinai as a target of aggression, highlighting Egypt's resilience in safeguarding its territory.

 

President Sisi recounted Egypt's fierce battle against terrorism, underscoring the nation's determination to defeat evil forces aiming to undermine its resolve. He praised the bravery of Egyptian martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect Sinai and uphold Egypt's security.

 

Referring to recent regional developments, including Israel's aggression on Gaza, President Sisi reaffirmed Egypt's unwavering stance against the displacement of Palestinians to Sinai or any other location. He reiterated Egypt's commitment to the Palestinian cause and its efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state.
