The Palestinian minister, meanwhile, lauded Egypt's role to put an end to the genocide war against the Palestinians in the enclave and secure the entry of the humanitarian aid.

The minister's remarks came during a meeting held with Egyptian Ambassador in Palestine Ihab Suleiman at the ministry's premises in Ramallah.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the conditions of the Palestinian citizens, who were evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Egypt.

The Egyptian ambassador has stressed the country's firm stance toward the Palestinian cause and support of all efforts aiming at putting an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and secure the entry of humanitarian aid to the enclave.

Egypt attaches great importance to the ongoing situation in the West Bank and the atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, he added.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of holding the joint Egyptian-Palestinian committee in the near future.
