CAIRO – 15 April 2024: Egyptian Ambassador to Cameroon Dalia Fayez met earlier this week with Secretary General of the Presidency Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh to discuss chances of the approval of Egyptian medicines in the country.

The meeting tackled cooperation in the sectors of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, justice, and trade exchange. That is in addition to preparations for the seventh session of the joint committee.

In March 2022, Minister of Economy, Planning, & Regional Development for Cameroon Alamine Ousmane Mey held a visit to Egypt meeting with Minister of International Cooperation Rania A. Al-Mashat.

Minister Mey expressed interest in starting an Egyptian-Cameroonian business forum to discuss prospects for economic and technological cooperation, increase the exchange of information and expertise, ensure capacity building, and pave the way for joint manufacturing.

With enhanced cooperation and inter-trade between both countries, particularly in new and renewable energy, health, food security, and agriculture, he also referred to unlocking great potential for Egypt and Cameroon.
