CAIRO – 13 April 2024: Egypt is about to crank up the heat this week, with temperatures soaring above 30 degrees Celsius in most areas, including the bustling capital, Cairo.

If you're planning any outdoor adventures in the coming days, it's highly recommended to rock those light, breezy cotton clothes and steer clear of polyester and other sweat-inducing fabrics.

By Wednesday, Cairo and the Nile Delta will experience highs of 33 degrees and lows of 19, according to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA).

Over on the North Coast, where the weather is generally pretty nice all year round, we're looking at daytime temperatures slightly nudging above the 30s, with lows of 18.

In the enchanting cities of South Sinai, including Sharm El-Sheikh, temperatures will hit a high of 33 and a low of 22 throughout the week.

In the northern parts of Upper Egypt, Wednesday will bring temperatures rising to 36 degrees for the highs, while the lows chill at 18.

Meanwhile, down south in places like Luxor and Aswan, we're talking highs of 38 and lows of 22 as we head towards the weekend.

The skies are expected to stay clear throughout the week and no rain is expected.

Make sure to stay hydrated, seek shade whenever possible, and avoid doing workout in the direct sun, especially around midday.
