Implementing outcomes of National Dialogue is top priority to President Sisi, PM

CAIRO – 8 April 2024: Egypt’s Prime Minster Mustafa Madbouly affirmed on Monday that implementing the outcomes of the National Dialogue is a top priority to President Abdel Fattah al Sisi.

He added during the weekly ministerial meeting that President Sisi have received the outcomes of the second round of the Dialogue which is related to the country’s economic affairs.

During the meeting, Madbouly also extended his greetings to President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, members of the government, the Egyptian people, and the Arab and Islamic nations, on the occasion of the blessed Eid al Fitr.

On Saturday, President Sisi pledged his support for the state of political openness and the reform process that began with his launch of the National Dialogue in April 2022.

The president emphasized during the Egyptian Family iftar banquet his endorsement of the initial outcomes of the National Dialogue, directing the government and state institutions to support them.

He also affirmed his ongoing support for empowering youth and women in political, economic, and social spheres.

The president vowed to prioritize the provision of a decent quality of life for people including by ensuring a conducive educational environment, delivering adequate healthcare services, and providing decent housing.

The state will continue implementing strategic balance policies regarding regional and global issues, based on clear national determinants and considerations of Egyptian national security dimensions, Sisi said.
