CAIRO - 4 April 2024: Temperatures have soared above 30 degrees in various areas across Egypt, including Cairo, Delta, South Sinai, and Upper Egypt.

Good news! starting Saturday, temperatures will drop in these areas starting Saturday.

According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), there's even a chance of some light rain next week.

The EMA predicts a nationwide temperature drop of around 3-4 degrees starting from Sunday.

By Tuesday, Cairo will experience a pleasant high of 14 degrees and a low of 14 degrees, while Alexandria and other northern coastal areas will continue to enjoy fantastic weather with highs of 21 and lows of 15.

If you're in South Sinai, where it's been scorching this week, rejoice! Temperatures will be on the decline, reaching a high of 27 degrees and a low of 18 degrees by Wednesday.

In northern Upper Egypt, temperatures will plummet from 35 degrees on Friday to highs of 26 degrees and lows of 15 degrees by Tuesday.

Meanwhile, southern Upper Egypt will cool down from 36 degrees on Friday to around 30 degrees for the upcoming week.

For the remainder of this week, expect hot weather in Cairo, Delta, South Sinai, and Upper Egypt, while the northern coast will enjoy warm temperatures.

However, it might be a good idea to have a sweatshirt handy for those breezy nights and early mornings.
