ALGIERS – 22 July 2017: Algeria condemned the serious violations of the Israeli forces that took place on Friday against the Palestinians in the surroundings of Al Aqsa Mosque, urging the international community to immediately move to put an end to such criminal actions.

Algeria also urged the international community to protect the Palestinians and their sanctuaries from the Israeli violations, Spokesman of the Algerian Foreign Ministry Abdelaziz Benali Cherif said on Saturday.

Israeli forces conducted a number of arrests and killings of Palestinians and prevented them from practicing their religious rituals, he said.

Cherif voiced Algeria’s full solidarity with the Palestinian state, renewing its support to the Palestinians.
