CAIRO - 28 March 2024: Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark Tawadros II will preside over the Easter Mass on the evening of May 5th at St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya.

 

The celebration will be attended by several ministers, senior officials, statesmen, representatives of the President of the Republic, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, as well as members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

 

Additionally, a gathering of bishops, priests, and Coptic faithful from diverse dioceses will participate in the Easter Mass prayer.

 

To attend Mass, individuals are required to obtain reservation forms issued by the various dioceses of the Orthodox Church in Egypt.
