Army is state's shield in face of terror: Mufti

CAIRO - 22 July 2017: Mufti of the Republic Shawqi Allam greeted President Abdel El Fatah al-Sisi, the Egyptian people and Armed Forces on the anniversary of 23 July revolution.

Darul Ifta offers its greetings to the Egyptian people, President Sisi and the Armed Forces on the anniversary of July 23 revolution, the mufti said in a statement issued on Saturday.

Egypt's great army is the nation's shield that has been making sacrifices in defending the rights of the Egyptian people, the mufti stressed.
