Egypt, Qatar sign 6 MoUs to cooperate in various sectors

CAIRO – 3 March 2024: The fifth round of the Egyptian-Qatari Supreme Committee concluded its meetings Saturday in Doha by signing six MoUs to further cooperation between the two sides.

One was signed between the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and the Investment Promotion Agency of Qatar (IPAQ). Another is aimed at the implementation of the fourth joint executive programme in the sectors of education and scientific research.

The two countries will also carry out an executive programme in the sector of social safety, and another in the sectors of sports and youth for the years from 2024 through 2026.

Both countries will similarly cooperate in the field of humanitarian international law, as well as the field of diplomatic training. The latter will be achieved through the collaboration between the Egyptian Institute for Diplomatic Studies and the Qatari Diplomatic Institute.
