CAIRO - 17 February 2024: The Palestinian Red Crescent said on Saturday that medical staff at Al Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip are exerting efforts to relieve the wounded and the sick people, despite the continued siege imposed on the hospital by the Israeli forces.

The Palestinian Red Crescent added in a statement on Saturday that the staff at the hospital “were subjected to abuse and the occupation forces confiscated funds and vandalized the hospital's departments,” describing the Israeli actions at the hospital as “war crimes” that hinder their humanitarian work.

Gaza Municipality also said that Israeli forces destroyed dozens of municipal buildings during the current war on the Strip, including administrative offices, markets, shops, cultural centers and libraries.
