CAIRO - 10 February 2024: The Director of the Gaza Medical Relief Association, Ayed Yaghi, has commended Egypt's significant efforts in facilitating the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip. He also highlighted Egypt's ongoing endeavors to reach a ceasefire in the besieged territory.

In a statement to Al-Qahera News, Yaghi emphasized that the Israeli occupation forces are deliberately obstructing the entry of medical and humanitarian aid into the Strip.

127 Days of Israeli Aggression:

The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip has entered its 127th day, with Israeli forces continuing their attacks by land, sea, and air.

The death toll has surpassed 27,000, while more than 67,000 have been wounded, according to preliminary reports. Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as the occupation forces prevent rescue and ambulance crews from reaching them.

Urgent Appeal for International Intervention:

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh has called on the United States, the European Union, the permanent members of the UN Security Council, and all countries of the world to intervene urgently to prevent the expansion of the aggression and the genocidal crimes to Rafah.

The city shelters approximately 1.4 million displaced people who have fled from different areas of the Gaza Strip, which is facing widespread destruction and displacement.
