CAIRO – 9 February 2024: Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Qatar, and Jordan, besides Secretary General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Hussein Al Sheikh, met in Riyadh to discuss the developments of the genocidal Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

The meeting affirmed that putting an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip is a must, saying it is quite important to take irreversible steps to implement the two-state solution and recognize the State of Palestine on the lines of June 4, 1967, reported the Saudi News Agency (SPA).

The Ministers stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory, and expressed their categorical rejection of all forced displacement.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah called for an immediate and complete ceasefire, ensuring the protection of civilians under international humanitarian law, and lifting all restrictions that impede the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip, SPA added.

The Ministers voiced their support for The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and urged all its supporters to play their role in supporting humanitarian missions for Palestinian refugees.
