110 aid trucks enter Gaza Strip, 22 injured Palestinians transported to Egypt

CAIRO – 10 January 2024: In the early hours of Wednesday, 110 aid trucks carrying rescue equipment, medicines, and food arrived in Gaza Strip from Egypt through Rafah Border Crossing bringing in shipments donated by foreign countries and local entities.

 

Simultaneously, 22 injured Palestinians and 124 dual nationals entered Egypt. The former will receive treatment in local hospitals, while the latter are transiting until their departure from Cairo International Airport.

 

Rafah Border Crossing received Tuesday 24 injured Palestinians along with their companions as well as 96 dual nationals who will transit in Egypt on their way to their homelands.

 

On Monday, 128 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip through Rafah and Kerem Abu Salem border crossings.

 

A total of 22,835 martyrs have been killed, more than 70 percent of whom are women and children, while 58,316 others have been wounded, in addition to 7,000 people missing under the rubble.
