Egypt’s Coptic Catholic Churches celebrated Christmas on December 24, 2022

CAIRO - 21 December 2023: Coptic Catholic Patriarch of Egypt Ibrahim Issac will lead the Christmas Mass at Nasr City Cathedral on Sunday, December 24.

 

On the following day, the church will receive Christmas well-wishers at the Patriarchal House on the Dome Bridge, and at the head of the well-wishers is Pope Tawadros II.

 

The Catholic Church in Egypt began Christmas fasting on December 10, and will end it on Christmas Eve (December 24) at midnight.

 

In 2022, the Christmas celebrations were held in the presence of pontiffs, statesmen, representatives of Al-Azhar and public figures.
