Israel intensifies its bombings on Gaza

CAIRO – 5 December 2023: Israeli occupation army intensively continued its shelling on the Gaza Strip since the 7-day truce between Hamas and Israel ended on Saturday, particularly at evening in Khan Younis, Deir Al Balah and Rafah City, killing and injuring hundreds of Palestinians, mostly are children.

 

According to the Palestinian state-owned news agency (WAFA), “dozens of civilians were killed and others injured this evening in a series of Israeli air raids targeting scores of houses in Shajaiya and Zaytoun neighborhoods, in Gaza City.”

 

Also, the internet and communication were cut off by Israeli occupation and he Palestinian Red Crescent said: “We completely lost communication with the operations room in the Gaza Strip and with our crews working there, after Israeli occupation completely cut off all communications networks for the fourth time since the beginning of the aggression on October 7.”

On his X, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said: “I reiterate my call for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, the unconditional & immediate release of all hostages, and unimpeded & sustained humanitarian aid flow to meet the needs of the people throughout the Gaza Strip.”
