CAIRO – 30 November 2023: Hamas handed over two Israeli captives to representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) at Palestine Square in central Gaza city on Thursday, Al Qahera news channel reported.

The seventh batch of those set to be released under a Palestinian-Israeli prisoner swap deal includes 30 Palestinian prisoners, including 22 men and eight women.

The Israeli prison service announced the start of Palestinian prisoners' transfer to Ofer Prison in preparation for their release.

Earlier in the day, Hamas and Israel agreed to extend the humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip by one more day.

A well-informed source said that Egypt succeeds overcoming the obstacles that faced the implementation of 7th phase of exchanging detainees as part of Hamas-Israel deal, and that 6 Israeli detainees in Gaza Strip are expected to be released, during the coming hours.
