788 tons of fuel, over 2K aid trucks enter Gaza through Egypt

CAIRO – 26 November 2023: Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS) Diaa Rashwan indicated Sunday the details of the third day of the truce that began Friday between Hamas and Israel.

Rashwan noted that 13 civilian Israeli hostages will be exchanged for 39 Palestinian captives who have been detained in Israeli prisons.  

As for aid, the quantities that entered Gaza Strip on Friday and Saturday are 2,675 tons of medical supplies; 9,621 tons of food; 7,047 tons of water; 82 tents; and, 1,992 tons of different types of equipment.

With regard to Sunday, 120 aid trucks have entered until present, including two trucks carrying fuel and two others carrying cooking gas having as destination Northern Gaza.

Since the beginning of the crisis, 2,056 aid trucks entered the enclave, including those carrying a total of 788 tons of fuel. On another level, Egypt received 353 injured Palestinians with 292 companions. Further, 8,514 foreigners and dual nationals crossed into Egypt. Also, 1,256 Egyptians returned.
